SWISH is a recreational basketball league for girls and young
women in Santa Cruz County. The league operates from late March through
mid-June. We have been in existence since 1997, and serve 120 girls each year.
SWISH is unique among the youth sports leagues of Santa Cruz County
in its aspiration to provide our players with quality coaching from
experienced women basketball coaches. During the 10-week season, the coaches
work to build up the athletic skills as well as the leadership and
sportsmanship of the girls and young women of SWISH—all through the fun and
exciting sport of basketball!
